The Off-Ice Officials are an integral part of the game. Duties fulfilled by the officials include keeping up-to-the-minute stats, scorekeeping between the penalty boxes, and serving as the goal judges on either side of the ice. These goal judges serve a crucial role as they watch to see when and if the puck crosses the goal line. They report to the on-ice officials as well as directly to the SPHL.
